Lost in the Blizzard

Scenario for Fabula Ultima TTJRPG. 

"A team of heroes, members of the Adventurers' Guild, receives a new assignment: in the mountain village of Yukimura, men have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances. Although the area usually enjoys mild winters, recently a blizzard descends upon it nearly every night. Locals speak of a curse, and the village elders blame a culprit: the Snow Witch, said to appear on the outskirts of the settlement to lure her victims into the mountains.

The discovered bodies are horrifying — battered as if from great falls, frozen nearly to the bone, but the most disturbing are those that look like empty, gray shells: drained of all life energy. The village demands the Guild’s intervention. The Snow Witch must be destroyed."
